What to Expect from the Next Generation of Console Controllers E3 has come and gone and TechnologyGuide has everything covered. Microsoft is releasing a new Xbox and Sony is releasing a new PlayStation, but with new consoles come new controllers. Serious gamers are indebted to their controllers and rely on comfort for results in the game. Are the new controllers up to snuff? Let's start with Sony, the arguable winner of E3. Sony has been busy making more than a few changes to its upcoming PlayStation hardware; the most immediately striking of which can be found in the new DualShock 4 controller. There are a number of shakeups in the PS4's pad, but on the surface, much of the DualShock 4 is naturally reminiscent of the DualShock 3.
