July 17, 2013 What is the Best Tablet? The Apple iPad is still the market king, but it's not the best tablet according to the folks at TabletPCReview and TechnologyGuide. Nope, that honor belongs to a relatively new Android tablet, which scored very high in a recent review. In fact, while a good device (you'll have to read the article to see what it actually is!), it's almost number one by default, as the tablet market has seen a dearth of new devices as of late. That should soon change, however. The Google Nexus 7 is more than a year old, and rumors suggest a Nexus 7 2 is on the horizon. Also, expect to hear more about new iPads in the coming weeks, including both the 9.7-inch version, and a new iPad mini.
