| CES 2012: Lenovo Announces New ThinkPad Edge Laptops, as Low as $349 With CES beginning tomorrow Lenovo has announced several new ThinkPad Edge business laptops with three classes of notebooks to choose from. The first is what Lenovo calls a "premium" notebook configuration and is meant for users who need only the best hardware and features; the second is the "mainstream" configuration for a wide variety in options and performance; and the third are the "Essential" notebooks with basic configurations and features for users on a budget. The unveiled notebooks come in several form factors, including 11-, 13-, 14-, and 15-inches. The notebooks will be available starting in April. | Lenovo Releases a Ton of New Ultrabooks, Netbooks, and Notebooks Lenovo has unveiled an enormous new lineup of IdeaPad and G-series laptops and from the looks of it, there's a notebook for just about anyone. The lineup includes a range of new IdeaPad notebooks in the U, Y, S and Z-series, as well as budget-priced G-series. | User Interface Trends to Take Over CES? CEA's chief economist Shawn DuBravc predicts that better user interfaces in software applications and operating systems will take over this year. He went as far to say that 2012 will be the "Year of the User Interface."
