Time for a Fresh Look at PC Security

The faint hint of autumn now in the air means more than just the promise of bright foliage (and college football!) ahead. With the lazier days of summer fading away, it's the time of year to take a fresh and serious look at the best ways of protecting your PCs and other devices from malware, theft, and other harm.

Even if you have Windows 8 installed, Microsoft's built-in Windows Defender antivirus software is not going to be enough. This week, Symantec launched the 2014 edition of its Norton consumer product lineup, and there are other great PC security solutions available for you from major vendors like McAfee.
