Is This Windows 8 Gaming Tablet a Game Changer? Razer Edge Pro Review

Razer is known to PC gaming enthusiasts for flashy accessories and cutting-edge gaming rigs. It's latest pushes boundaries by bringing what Razer claims is console-quality gaming to tablets in the form of the Razer Edge Pro, a Windows 8 tablet similar to the Microsoft Surface Pro, with one key addition: a dedicated graphics card that enables it to run many high-end and AAA games.

The Razer Edge is also more than just a tablet. It pairs with a gamepad that is essentially an Xbox 360 controller cut in half and stretched into a tablet cover. It's a unique and innovative accessory, and it could be what turns the Razer Edge Pro from an overpowered Windows 8 tablet into a true mobile gaming platform.

The Razer Edge Pro generated a ton of buzz when it officially debuted at CES 2013 in January, and even before that when it was simply known to the world as a concept device dubbed "Project Fiona". Now, it's out in the wild, and TechnologyGuide has a full review of this potentially game-changing device.

Does it meet the promise of its initial buzz and offer portable, console-quality gaming? Find out in TG's full Razer Edge Pro Review.
