Migrate 100 PCs to
Windows 7 per day,
per Technician

Hello PCWorld reader,

A Gartner research report from December 2010 estimates a Windows 7 migration can take between 3.5 to 4 hours of technician time per end point. This results in migrating two to three PCs per day, per IT technician. As this is only technician time, user downtime is typically longer.

With Wanova Mirage, in-place Windows 7 migration is fully automated and centrally controlled so a single technician with Wanova Mirage can concurrently handle 100 migrations per day. IT does not have to touch the PC and the user downtime is typically only 30 minutes.

For a 5,000 person organization, this equates to $600,000 in IT time cost savings and over $1,000,000 in user productivity savings.

See for yourself. Take a look at a video of a Windows 7 migration using Mirage and download a free trial license.
