Has Ubisoft's 'Always Online' DRM Scheme Been Foiled?
In order to play upcoming Ubisoft and EA single-player games like Assassin's Creed 2, Silent Hunter 5, and Command & Conquer 4, you must have an active Internet connection or the games won't load. Now some are claiming Ubisoft's draconian DRM scheme has been circumvented because a cracked copy of Silent Hunter 5 may have made its way onto file sharing sites. The game publisher's response?
