Sony Alpha SLT-A37 and NEX-F3: Homing in on the Holidays!

Looking for a feature-packed digital SLR to capture holiday happenings or maybe give to a favorite nephew? Sony has two feature-packed suggestions: The lightweight and full-size Alpha SLT-A37 and the compact and mirrorless NEX-F3. Both cameras offer a range of capabilities that can meet the needs of both amateurs and serious shutterbugs.

The Alpha A37 features a 16.1 megapixel CMOS APS-C sensor, and weighs in at about 448 grams. The camera can shoot at a 7 fps burst in a special tele-zoom mode, or 5.5 fps in standard shooting. It also has a 15-point auto-focus system with 3 cross-type sensors, and a tiltable LCD that can be angled to frame shots in difficult shooting situations.

The compact Alpha NEX-C3 has a 16.1 megapixel APS-C sensor and the latest-generation BIONZ image processor. It records full 1080 HD video at either 60i or 24p and sports an incredible battery life of an estimated 470 shots per charge. It also has an adjustable LCD and is light enough to pack along everywhere so you don't miss that once in a lifetime holiday shot.
